White Sangria

Last time my friend hosted a girls night she served the most amazing white sangria full of sweet summer fruit: strawberries, white peaches, and oranges. Simple to make and deliciously refreshing, this cocktail is a wonderful sip to serve at a gathering. I will be hosting a barbecue for some of my friends this evening, and while the cold weather is making its way in, I might just have to include this summer favorite on the menu.

| White Wine Sangria |

2 bottles of white wine (Riesling, Albarino, Chablis, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc)

3 ripe white peaches, pitted and cut into wedges

2 navel oranges, peeled and sliced

1 pint of strawberries, hulled & halved lengthwise

Place all fruit in a large pitcher or bowl, add wine and allow to sit at room temperature 4 to 6 hours.

When ready to serve add ice.

  1. My bf has an amazing recipe for traditional sangria and love making it. I think he’d be so excited to try a different version of it! Thanks for the recipe! btw, i’m working on starting an online book club, Book Babes, it’s for the sexy, chic and smart beauties out there. Let me know if you’d like me to add you to the list, I’ll be giving away fun prizes to members as we read through books!
