About

I’m Natalie Way, a writer, editor, and content consultant with 10 years of experience working at print and digital lifestyle publications.

My most recent role was Senior Editor of Realtor.com News & Insights where I produced consumer-focused short-form stories, features, and advice articles. During my six years on staff I managed a stable of freelance writers, brainstormed and pitched story and franchise ideas, and leveraged SEO best practices to drive traffic and grow our audience.

I also pioneered a new digital channel for our content team by co-creating and co-hosting House Party, Realtor.com’s critically acclaimed podcast that explored the intersection of homes and pop culture.

Before working in digital publishing, I cut my teeth at two independent lifestyle publications. I was the Assistant Editor of California Homes Magazine where I managed the front-of-book section, Notebook. I was also the Managing Editor of Shortlist, a high-end guidebook about shopping, food, design, events, and more in San Francisco and Napa Valley.

I’m originally from California, lived in New York City for four years, and recently put down roots in Seattle with my husband, toddler son, and Labrador mix.
